Southern Explosives Supplies provides quarry drill and blast services ranging from blast-hole drilling and technical support to complete Full Service Drilling and Blasting delivery. We work as an extension of the quarry team, planning each blast around production targets, bench conditions, environmental limits and the performance required through loading, hauling and crushing.

Our integrated service can include face profiling, survey and set-out, blast design, drilling, bore tracking, explosives supply and logistics, hole loading, shotfiring, vibration and air-overpressure monitoring, and post-blast review. Combining these stages under one accountable team improves communication, reduces gaps between design and execution, and creates a stronger basis for measuring and improving blast performance.

SES tailors drilling patterns, explosive selection and initiation design to the geology and the quarry's operating priorities. The objective may be to reduce oversize, improve diggability, deliver more consistent crusher feed, protect final walls, control flyrock or manage impacts near neighbouring properties and infrastructure. Our modern drill fleet, experienced operators and independent approach to explosives selection allow us to recommend the solution that best fits the shot rather than a single product or delivery model.
