Maintenance and field service

Drill availability protects metres, blast schedules and production. The SES Maintenance Division supports SES and client-owned blast-hole drills through planned servicing, preventative maintenance, breakdown response, inspections, component work and practical field repairs. Our technicians understand the conditions production drills operate in and the cost of a rig standing when a shot is waiting.

Support can be delivered on site or through our workshop facilities. Capability includes drill-rig maintenance, hydraulic diagnostics and repairs, drifter rebuilds, component inspections and change-outs, mobile hydraulic hose manufacture and repair, workshop overhauls, refurbishment, precision tooling and custom fabrication. Where parts are unavailable or affected by long lead times, SES can assess suitable engineered repair or component-manufacturing options to help restore the asset safely and efficiently.

Maintenance arrangements can be tailored to a single drill, a hired asset or a broader fleet. SES can provide scheduled support, campaign and shutdown labour, field-service response, spares and consumables planning, condition reporting and clearly allocated maintenance responsibilities. The focus is straightforward: identify problems early, complete quality work, improve reliability and return the drill to productive service with clear communication and accountability.
